The Liberal Democrat Party & 20mph

A quick search round the web seems to indicate that Lib dems want 20mph to be default in built up areas where people live…. except here in Sheffield!

To a cynical viewer it seems wherever the lib dems are in opposition they strongly back blanket 20s plenty for residential roads.

Credit where its due though, and LDs in Oxford, Bristol and Portsmouth have pressed ahead with city wide 20mph schemes so why the luke warm response in Sheffield?
